THE 2008 EUFLEXXA MASTERS ATHLETE OF THE YEAR IS DARA TORRES
The 12 winners of the 2008 Euflexxa Masters Athlete of the Year awards show the breadth of Masters sports. The honorees range from a world famous Olympian named Dara Torres to athletes who have toiled in anonymity their entire lives. The winners' homes are in southern California, Colorado and New England. There's even a winner from Barbados. Their ages range from 41 to 91. And their sports include swimming, skiing, track and field, basketball and cycling. But what they all have in common is a devotion to training, a love of competition and a great story to tell.
