State of the Sport

In each issue of Masters Athlete in 2007, we'll be examining the state of a specific sport for Masters athletes. The sports will range from cycling to golf to skiing. We'll offer interviews with prominent figures in the sport, a list of important upcoming events and key associations. And we'll give beginners tips on how to get started in the sport. Here's a list of the sports that will get the "state of the sport" treatment this year:

January/February: Pickleball

March/April: Triathlon

May: Running

June: Cycling

July/August: Tennis

September: Softball and Baseball

October/November: Golf

December: Skiing
