My name is Jack Eberhard, I am the official photographer for SSUSA (Senior Softball USA). I have been their official photographer for the past 4+ years. SSUSA is the largest senior softball association in the United States.

I have been published in several magazines and newspapers such as Softball Magazine and Softball Today Magazine. I even shot a cover for Masters Athlete back when it was known as GeezerJock.

One of the things I like about my position with SSUSA unique is that I get to meet teams from all over the U.S. I stand in front of their dougouts and I hear the greatest stories about teams and their players. That is part of what I hope to share with you with this blog.

My job enables me to get on the fields in the best locations to get the best shots. I'm also a player and love and understand the game of slow pitch softball.

The players I take photos of range in age from 40 to 80+. I once took a picture of a 86-year-old man sliding into 2nd base! To watch the 80+ players play is nothing short of amazing, and what really amazes me is they act and talk just like the 40 year guys. They are very very competive and you should hear them when things don't go their way.

Over the past few years the women's senior game has made a vast improvement. The game is very competitive and is fun to watch.
