Women's 70-79 Nominees

Ann B. Stevens * Swimming * Evanston, Ill.

At the 2008 Lattof Masters Swimming Meet, Stevens compiled 31 points to help her team, the Evanston Masters, to a second place finish. In the meet, she tallied more points than any other individual female competitor.

Ros King * Tennis * San Diego

King is a valuable part of a talented U.S. team in the International Tennis Federation. At the Althea Gibson Cup, she helped the squad to a first-place finish against seven countries. King is No. 13 in the ITF rankings list.

Coralue Anderson * Downhill Skiing * Georgetown, Colo. 

Anderson recorded eight wins in her age group this year, four in the slalom and four in the giant slalom. In addition to the eight wins in the Rocky Mountain Masters Ski Racing league, she won the regional championship in her age group.

Nancy Brown * Swimming * Pasadena, Md.

Brown won the 200-, 500-, and 1,000-meter freestyle, the 100-meter butterfly, and the 50-meter breaststroke for the women's 70-74 age group at the Dixie Zone short course championships in February. She also won the 50-meter freestyle and 100- and 400-meter individual medley at the U.S. Naval Academy meet in March.
